Associate
David has over a decade of experience in the finance industry, and has counseled financial firms, individual investors, buyers, sellers, and others in evaluating and negotiating complex transactions. He is frequently engaged as special counsel to issue opinion letters for transactions governed by New York law.
He has also worked extensively with cutting-edge technology companies large and small, including startups, and has significant knowledge of a broad class of engineering disciplines, including computer science, mechanical and electrical engineering, and life sciences.
David has assisted companies in establishing their business, drafting and reviewing intra-company contracts and policies including, but not limited to employment agreements, non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, partnership contracts, and LLC operating agreements. David is also skilled at negotiating with vendors, buyers, and other third parties.
David earned his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law, and is a proud alumnus of the University of Hawai’i, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and before the United States Patent and Trade Office (Reg. #69694).
